The DeviceMotionEventAcceleration interface of the Device Orientation Events provides information about the amount of acceleration the device is experiencing along all three axes.

DeviceMotionEventAcceleration.y Read only
The amount of acceleration along the Y axis.
DeviceMotionEventAcceleration.z Read only
The amount of acceleration along the Z axis.
