For example, repairable, usable, etc.
I tried a few in deepl and got a mixture of potential, 用, and 可能.
My first thought was that it would involve passive, but I guess not.
Is there a single method that's acceptable for all verbs, or at least common?
Or are you saying use of potential to express verb-able is just not natural/in Japanese without context? Or abandon trying to express "verb-able" altogether.

It seemed perfectly intuitive to me that the concept of "drivable" would manifest in Japanese without too much distortion, given the apparently grammatical methods to produce that meaning.
